This quilt was based on watching too much HGTV. It seems one of the 'it' things is a barn door. I had these wonderful wood-tone jellyrolls and thought - why not! It was a great time to use mitered edges and just have some fun. The reverse side of this quilt is a fabric that I purchased on my last week living in Rome (lived there for 2 1/2 years and loved it). It's a wonderful print of places around the world with postmarks - it was just a great place to use this fabric.
